Who is The Gully suited to?
It is set up as an adult focused retreat for couples and small groups, and families are welcome too, for up to four guests across two queen bedrooms, The Green Room and The Clay Room.
Is there phone reception?
No, and that is a big part of why it is so easy to switch off. Starlink wifi is there for when you need it.
Why book direct?
Our best rate with no platform service fees, and you deal with us, the owners, directly.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payment runs through the secure checkout of Hospitable, our booking partner, so your card details never touch this website.
Can we bring children or pets?
Children are welcome, so it works well as a family getaway for up to four guests in total. We are not able to host pets.
Can we use the fireplace?
Yes, from about April to November. We follow the Shire of Nannup’s burning periods, so the Cheminées stays closed through the summer fire season, roughly December to March, and firewood is supplied whenever it is in use. The exact dates shift a little each year with the Shire’s notices, so we will let you know before you arrive.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, a $500 security deposit applies to every stay. Our booking partner charges it 2 days before check in and refunds it 2 days after checkout, once we have checked the house.
Visiting for an event?
Dates fill quickly around the Nannup Music Festival in March, the Flower and Garden Festival in August and the town’s cycling and gravel weekends, so book early for those.
