A few days around Nannup
The Blackwood River
One of the South West’s great rivers runs past town, so canoe it, swim it in summer or take a thermos to the bank at first light.
Gravel and trail riding
Nannup sits on the Munda Biddi Trail, with quiet forest roads in every direction and cycling and gravel events through the year.
Forest walks
Start on the trails through our own bushland, right from the front door, then try the riverside loops and old timber tracks around town.
Food, coffee and cellar doors
Good coffee in town, farm gates nearby and the Blackwood Valley wine region on the doorstep, with Margaret River’s cellar doors an easy day trip west.
Nannup’s calendar
The Music Festival in March, the Flower and Garden Festival in August, and cycling and gravel weekends in between.
The wider South West
Busselton’s jetty and the cellar doors and surf of the Margaret River Region to the west, and tall karri country toward Pemberton to the south east.
“Nannup itself is charming, with its quaint town centre and beautiful roses.”
